Road Expo, Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh

Road Expo Scotland 2009 took place on the 4 – 5 November in the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh. With around 110 exhibitors and a 10% increase in the number of visitors it was the largest exhibition in the shows history.

Contraflow were given the award for the best visitor promotion. This was awarded for going above and beyond the call of duty in promoting the event to their customers and potential visitors. All of the marketing opportunities offered by the organisers, Faversham House, were taken up by Contraflow and used to great effect. These included a direct mailing service, personalised e-tickets, additional hard copy tickets and an enhanced website listing. On top of this, all correspondence with Contraflow and their marketing agency, Marketing Matters, was actioned promptly and deadlines were always met.

It is of great importance to the continued success of the exhibition that exhibitors engage with the show organisers and marketing options offered to them. Contraflow and Marketing Matters have certainly done this, ensuring a good event for all involved.
